Here is how Mindless Engineering collects, uses, and safeguards your information while you explore the lab and order hardware.
Data We Collect
We collect the information you share when requesting drops, creating an account, or contacting support. That typically includes your name, email, shipping details, and product preferences.
We also capture limited device data (browser, rough location, referral source) to keep our storefront healthy and to prevent abuse.
How We Use It
- Fulfill and service product orders, including drop notifications.
- Maintain lab records and warranty support tied to serial numbers.
- Send updates about prototypes, launches, and policy changes (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- Improve our site by understanding aggregate traffic and performance.
Sharing + Storage
We never sell personal data. We only share information with vendors that help us run Mindless Engineering (payments, logistics, email). Each vendor signs confidentiality terms and matches our security expectations.
Data lives in encrypted services located in the United States. Access is restricted to the small internal team running drops and support.
Your Choices
- Update or delete your account data by emailing support@mindless.engineering.
- Opt out of marketing messages via the link in every email.
- Request a copy of the personal data we maintain.
